World Oceans Day Celebration
World Oceans Day Festival 2010
World Oceans Day has been celebrated around the world since 1992. This year, it was permanently sanctioned by the United Nations, giving June 8th every year the official designation of World Oceans Day!
Old Quarry is once again proud to be the venue for a World Oceans Day celebration here in Maine. This year we are holding our one day, fun filled and educational family event, on Saturday, June 5th. Once again general admission is free to all, with nominal fees for certain activities and for food. We had a great crowd last year, and fantastic displays, vendors and activities. We believe this year will be even better!
